How We Use The Information We Gather

Choosing a licensed and authorized Immigration Consultant is crucial for enhancing your chances of successful immigration. Verifying whether your RCIC is authorized can help you avoid risks right from the start.

The process to verify the status of an RCIC is similar to that of verifying an immigration lawyer. The key step is confirming their membership with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

    Here’s how you can verify:

    • Step 1: Visit the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants’ website directory here.
    • Step 2: Enter Details: Input the RCIC’s details, such as their name, RCIC number or company name into the search fields.

    Note:

Only RCIC’s with an active status in the CICC directory are authorized to provide immigration services for Canadian immigration. If you cannot find your RCIC’s name in the CICC directory, they are not authorized to provide Canadian immigration services.

As an applicant, if Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada determines that you have used an unauthorized agent for your application process, this can result in the applicant being refused and banned from Canada for misrepresentation.

Choosing an authorized RCIC is your first step towards a successful immigration journey in Canada.
